Payments & refunds

Quotation fee

When you ask us to collect competing quotations, we charge ₹500 for each contractor quotation you ask for, inclusive of GST. You choose the number. We confirm the scope with you before any payment, then send a secure payment link. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments; we never see or store your card or bank details.

What the fee covers:

  • A quotation from each vetted contractor you pay for, matched to your trades, area and project type
  • A written, anonymised brief so every contractor prices the same scope
  • Review of each quotation for missing scope, exclusions and GST before it is released to you
  • Included: a side-by-side comparison of all quotations as Option A, B, C
  • Included: one coordinated meeting with the contractor you choose, attended by Sevantay Realty
  • A refund of ₹500 for every requested contractor who does not submit a quotation by the due date

What it does not cover:

  • Design, drawings, BOQ preparation or structural / engineering advice
  • Measurement or survey of the site by Sevantay Realty — contractors may need their own visit
  • A guarantee of any contractor’s price, workmanship or timeline — a quotation is not a contract for the work
  • Legal or document verification of the property (that is Sevantay, sevantay.in)
  • A refund once a contractor’s quotation has been delivered, whether or not you go ahead

Refunds

  • For every contractor you paid for who has not submitted a quotation by the agreed due date, ₹500 is refunded. Refunds are issued after the due date.
  • If we cancel your request before any quotation is collected, the full fee is refunded.
  • Once a contractor’s quotation has been delivered to you, the fee for that quotation is not refundable, whether or not you go ahead with any contractor.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method through Cashfree. Banks usually credit them within 5–7 working days of the refund being issued.

Payment for work

Payment for the work itself is agreed separately in the written scope and quotation for that work, stage by stage. The quotation fee is not an advance for any work.
